EXTRA!!! EXTRA!!! Read all about it!!!!

*FLASH! I am pleased to relay the exciting news that last week Balboa's Varsity baseball team beat Lowell 11 to 2.
 
NOW, GET THIS!: We will now face Washington for City Championship this Thursday, May 12th at AT&T park! 

(Note correct date, originally we were told it was to be the 14th). 
 
Here's the information that I have at the present time:
Game to start thirty minutes after the Giants game; Gates will open for this game at about 3:30 with the game to start at about 4:00. 

FREE ADMISSION
 
Enter at the Lefty O'Doul entrance on Third Street. Seating for our us will be along the 1st and 3rd baseline.
Backpacks are allowed but will be opened. Balboa is considered the visiting team and will be in the visiting dugout on the 1st baseline
We are encouraged to take public transportation (car pool?), parking limited and (some of) the Giants' 
game fans will still be there.
 
Please wear warm clothes -- as much orange and blue as possible. Pass the word, and read the sports section of the paper.
THIS WILL BE AN EXCITING, THRILLING, AND HOPEFULLY A VICTORIOUS DAY FOR BALBOA.

ALSO.... Coach Val Cubales reports that Brandon On, a Senior, won the Boys' Tennis Singles Championship on Friday, May 6th at Golden Gate Park...Val 
states that our Boys' Tennis Team and Brandon made Balboa Athletic Boys Tennis history. 
 
 
Cinfonie reports that -- up until August 9th, if you purchase any Gatorade or G2 6 pack, 12 ounce or 8 pack 20 ounce (or 
Gatorade participating products) using your registered eScrip card (most of us have registered our Safeway club card.)
